a slow day in college park . . .
Something has just occurred to me: I do not live in Silver Spring eight months out of the year and, even though old College Park is but six miles away, my News-Gathering Capabilities are severely limited.
I need to do things differently at Just Up The Pike. Expect to see changes very soon - not huge changes, but a few tweaks that I think will make me a better blogger and this a better blog.

Oh, and by the way, Go Terps! I'm still a bit giddy over the last two football games. :) I attended all the games when I was at UMd (class of 84 here), but I have to admit that I see more of the actual football game now that I'm an alumna sitting on my sofa.
I'm actually impressed with how much Silver Spring info you gather from College Park. Keep on blogging!
I like just up the pike too! Don't change your focus, we need more info and perspective from outside the close-in 20910 zip code. Like to know whats happening in ALL parts of Silver Spring!
